The Dublin Lions basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting Early Longhorns to 45 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now have a 15-14 record. They play next when they travel to Tolar for a 3A Region I District 8 game on Friday, February 7. Dublin will confront a Rattlers team coming off a 50-32 league win over Comanche (Comanche, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 13-17.

With the loss, Early falls to 4-20 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Millsap (Millsap, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region I District 8 game on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 10-22. Millsap won 56-48 in their recent league game against Eastland (Eastland, TX)
