The Mid Valley Spartans basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Dunmore Bucks to 49 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 10-9 record. They play next when they host Honesdale for a Lackawanna 2 game on Friday, February 7. Mid Valley will confront a Hornets team coming off a 72-63 league loss to Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 6-11.

With the loss, Dunmore falls to 9-8 on the campaign. The Bucks travel to Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA) to confront the Crusaders in a Lackawanna 2 game on Friday, February 7. The Crusaders go into the game with a record of 16-3. Holy Cross won 71-42 in their recent league game against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA)
