The Timber Lake Panthers got by the visiting Dupree Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 54-52 in Tuesday's league contest.
The Panthers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Harding County (Buffalo, SD). The Ranchers go into the B Region 8 contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Harding County was tipped by New Underwood (New Underwood, SD), 66-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Dupree will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record. The Sioux go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 78-47 non-league win over Crow Creek (Stephan, SD).
