The Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Maryville Christian Eagles to 47 in the Royals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Royals now have a 13-2 record. They play next when they host Austin-East for a 2A District 2 game on Friday, February 7. Eagleton College & Career Academy will confront a Roadrunners team coming off a 85-47 league win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN). The Roadrunners record now stands at 11-14.

With the loss, Maryville Christian falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Oliver Springs (Oliver Springs, TN) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 11-13. Oliver Springs won 58-52 in their recent league game against Jellico (Jellico, TN)
