South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting East Bladen Eagles (Elizabethtown, NC), 47-27 in a league match.

With the victory, South Columbus advances its record to 14-5 on the year. The Stallions host Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to meet the Titans in a 1A/2A Waccamaw match on Friday, February 7. The Titans enter the match with a record of 11-9. Heide Trask won 60-53 in their recent league bout against Pender (Burgaw, NC)

With the loss, East Bladen falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to play the Vikings in a 1A/2A Waccamaw bout on Friday, February 7. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 3-15. West Columbus lost 71-52 in their recent league bout against Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC)
