The Jefferson Dragons basketball squad (Jefferson, GA), was nudged 70-64 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting East Hall Vikings (Gainesville, GA)
With the victory, East Hall advances its record to 20-4 on the year. The Vikings host West Hall (Oakwood, GA) to meet the Spartans in a AAA Region 8 battle on Friday, February 7. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 6-18. West Hall lost 50-30 in their recent league battle against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA)
The Dragons now own a 16-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cherokee Bluff for a AAA Region 8 battle on Friday, February 7. Jefferson will meet a Bears squad coming off a 64-51 league win over Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Bears record now stands at 21-3.
