The MacArthur Highlanders bounced the visiting Elgin Owls basketball squad by a final score of 79-55 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Highlanders clash with the Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK) in a 5A District 1 outing, on Friday, February 7. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Spartans come into the outing with a 4-11 record after their 88-58 league loss to El Reno (El Reno, OK).
The Owls (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Santa Fe South (Oklahoma City, OK). The Saints come into the 5A District 1 outing with a 1-17 record. In their last outing, Santa Fe South was overwhelmed by Guymon (Guymon, OK), 71-48, in a league outing.
