The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) and the host Savannah Classical Academy Spartans (Savannah, GA), observed Emanuel County Institute's basketball team knock off Savannah Classical Academy by a score of 59-51.

The Bulldogs (3-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The War Eagles come into the A D2 Region 3 challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Jenkins County dropped by Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 66-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Beaufort Academy Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Savannah Classical Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 60-46 league loss to Bethesda Academy (Savannah, GA).
