Illinois High School Basketball - Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley routs Flanagan-Cornell

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons basketball team scored a big 79-55 win over the Flanagan-Cornell Falcons.

The Falcons (15-9) will now prepare for their contest against Fieldcrest (Minonk, IL). The Knights come into the Heart of Illinois contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Fieldcrest smashed Ridgeview (Colfax, IL), 63-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) in a Heart of Illinois contest, on Friday, February 7. Flanagan-Cornell will attempt to better on its 13-11 season record. The Minutemen come into the contest with a 21-5 record after their 82-56 league win over Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL).
