Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Greene tipped by Fort Cherry

February 4, 2025: Waynesburg, PA 15370

In Tuesday's league test, the Fort Cherry Rangers (McDonald, PA) basketball squad got by the host West Greene Pioneers (Waynesburg, PA), by a final score of 62-61.

Next, the Rangers clash with the Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA) in a WPIAL 2A 3 test, on Wednesday, February 5. Fort Cherry will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Maples come into the test with a 0-13 record after their 79-18 league loss to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA).

The Pioneers (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Bethlehem Center (Fredericktown, PA). The Bulldogs come into the WPIAL 2A 3 test with a 9-12 record. In their last test, Bethlehem Center held off Burgettstown (Burgettstown, PA), 50-40, in a league test.
