Maine High School Basketball - Mt. Ararat can't hold off Freeport

Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mt. Ararat Eagles (Topsham, ME), 48-47 in a league match.
With the victory, Freeport advances its record to 5-13 on the year.
The Eagles now own a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brunswick for a A South match on Friday, February 7. Mt. Ararat will face a Dragons squad coming off a 65-62 league loss to Gray-New Gloucester (Gray, ME). The Dragons record now stands at 9-8.
