Next, the Eagles clash with the Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 test, on Friday, February 7. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 14-13 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 23-6 record after their 76-36 league win over Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX).

The Chieftans (5-22) will now prepare for their test against Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX). The Bobcats come into the 3A Region I District 2 test with a 9-17 record. In their last test, Dimmitt was routed by Littlefield (Littlefield, TX), 75-26, in a league test.
