Texas High School Basketball - Garland Christian Academy holds off Prestonwood Christian North

The Garland Christian Academy Swordsmen basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Prestonwood Christian North to 46 in the Swordsmen league triumph on Tuesday.
The Swordsmen now have a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Alcuin for a TAPPS 2A District 3 game on Monday, February 10. Garland Christian Academy will confront a Hawks team coming off a 51-39 league win over Cambridge (Dallas, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 6-14.
With the loss, Prestonwood Christian North falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The travel to First Baptist (Dallas, TX) to confront the Saints in a TAPPS 2A District 3 game on Friday, February 7. The Saints go into the game with a record of 19-2. First Baptist won 92-65 in their recent league game against Ovilla Christian (Red Oak, TX)
