Illinois High School Basketball - Lanphier victorious over Glenwood

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lanphier Lions basketball team scored a good 58-49 triumph over the Glenwood Titans.
The Lions (18-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers come into the Central State Eight challenge with a 13-12 record. In their last challenge, Normal University dropped by Decatur Eisenhower (Decatur, IL), 54-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans battle the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) in a Central State Eight challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Glenwood will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Railsplitters come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 40-30 non-league win over Taylorville (Taylorville, IL).
