With the victory, Jackson County upgrades its record to 19-2 on the year. The Blue Devils host York Institute (Jamestown, TN) to face the Dragons in a 2A District 5 match on Friday, February 7. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 1-15. York Institute lost 80-52 in their recent non-league match against Gatlinburg-Pittman (Gatlinburg, TN)

The Tigers now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clay County for a 1A District 7 match on Friday, February 7. Gordonsville will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 84-69 league win over Clarkrange (Clarkrange, TN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-4.
