In Tuesday's league test, the Valley Central Vikings (Montgomery, NY) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Goshen Central Gladiators (Goshen, NY), by a score of 50-35.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County II test, on Friday, February 7. Valley Central will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Dragons come into the test with a 12-2 record after their 62-40 league win over Monticello (Monticello, NY).
The Gladiators (5-6) will now prepare for their test against Warwick (Warwick, NY). The Wildcats come into the Section 9 Orange County II test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Warwick beat Minisink Valley (Slate Hill, NY), 55-45, in a league test.
