Latexo Tigers (Latexo, TX) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Groveton Indians (Groveton, TX), 69-17 in a league match.
With the victory, Latexo advances its record to 16-15 on the year. The Tigers host Grapeland (Grapeland, TX) to face the Sandies in a 2A Region III District 20 match on Friday, February 7. The Sandies enter the match with a record of 17-3.
The Indians now own a 6-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Normangee for a 2A Region III District 20 match on Friday, February 7. Groveton will face a Panthers squad coming off a 61-55 league win over Latexo (Latexo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 25-3.
