In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Hallettsville Brahmas basketball team scored a good 56-36 win over the Palacios Sharks.

The Brahmas (9-21) will now prepare for their contest against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders come into the 3A Region IV District 25 contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Rice Consolidated defeated Tidehaven (El Maton, TX), 60-39, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Sharks battle the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 contest, on Friday, February 7. Palacios will attempt to better on its 11-22 season record. The Cobras come into the contest with a 20-13 record after their 65-57 league win over Edna (Edna, TX).
