In Tuesday's league contest, the host Highland Cardinals basketball team scored a good 74-61 win over the Shullsburg Miners.
The Cardinals (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against Albany (Albany, WI). The Comets come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Albany dropped by Pecatonica (Blanchardville, WI), 61-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Miners battle the Belmont Braves (Belmont, WI) in a Six Rivers - West contest, on Tuesday, February 18. Shullsburg will attempt to better on its 5-6 season record.
