The Kingwood Mustangs basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Humble Wildcats to 50 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 17-14 record. They play next when they host Goose Creek Memorial for a 6A Region III District 23 game on Friday, February 7. Kingwood will confront a Patriots team coming off a 83-61 league loss to Atascocita (Humble, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 13-20.

With the loss, Humble falls to 15-16 on the campaign. The Wildcats host North Shore (Houston, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 6A Region III District 23 game on Friday, February 7. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 15-18. North Shore lost 68-60 in their recent league game against Summer Creek (Houston, TX)
