The Huntington Red Devils bounced the host Newton Eagles basketball squad by a final score of 48-25 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next, the Red Devils clash with the Pollok Central Bulldogs (Pollok, TX) in a 3A Region III District 21 outing, on Friday, February 7. Huntington will attempt to upgrade on its 12-21 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 20-10 record after their 59-43 league win over Central Heights (Nacogdoches, TX).
The Eagles (0-11) will now prepare for their outing against Diboll (Diboll, TX). The Lumberjacks come into the 3A Region III District 21 outing with a 7-14 record. In their last outing, Diboll routed Woodville (Woodville, TX), 63-62, in a league outing.
