The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX) and the host Irving Tigers (Irving, TX), observed Lake Highlands's basketball team overwhelm Irving by a score of 76-41.
The Wildcats (25-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Pearce (Richardson, TX). The Mustangs come into the 6A Region I District 7 challenge with a 21-10 record. In their last challenge, Pearce was routed by Berkner (Richardson, TX), 62-34, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Dallas Jesuit Rangers (Dallas, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 outing, on Friday, February 7. Irving will attempt to upgrade on its 11-19 season record. The Rangers come into the outing with a 21-8 record after their 54-38 league win over Nimitz (Irving, TX).
