The Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX) basketball edged the visiting Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX), 57-51 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 16-11 record. They play next when they host Burnet for a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, February 7. Marble Falls will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-39 league loss to Lampasas (Lampasas, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-16.
With the loss, Jarrell falls to 7-19 on the campaign. The Cougars host Taylor (Taylor, TX) to play the Ducks in a 4A Region III District 24 bout on Friday, February 7. The Ducks go into the bout with a record of 11-15. Taylor lost 55-48 in their recent league bout against Salado (Salado, TX)
