With the victory, Jayton advances its record to 15-2 on the year. The Jaybirds host Roscoe (Roscoe, TX) to meet the Plowboys in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Plowboys enter the match with a record of 26-4. Roscoe won 54-35 in their recent league match against Winters (Winters, TX)

The Raiders now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aspermont for a 1A Region II District 15 match on Friday, February 7. Lueders-Avoca will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 78-35 league win over Rotan (Rotan, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 15-11.
