South Dakota High School Basketball - Mitchell fells Jefferson

The Mitchell Kernels basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Jefferson Cavaliers to 49 in the Kernels league triumph on Tuesday.
The Kernels now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they host Sturgis Brown for a AA game on Friday, February 7. Mitchell will confront a Scoopers team coming off a 43-40 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Rapid City, SD). The Scoopers record now stands at 5-8.
With the loss, Jefferson falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Tea (Tea, SD) to confront the Titans in a AA game on Saturday, February 8. The Titans go into the game with a record of 6-7. Tea lost 67-52 in their recent non-league game against West Central (Hartford, SD)
