In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Jesup J-Hawks basketball team scored a close 57-55 triumph over the Wapsie Valley Warriors.
The J-Hawks (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors go into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Wapsie Valley will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 16-1 record after their 68-56 league win over Denver (Denver, IA).
