Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson County defeats Twiggs County

The Johnson County Trojans (Wrightsville, GA) basketball were winner over the visiting Twiggs County Cobras (Jeffersonville, GA), 47-38 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hancock Central for a A D2 Region 5 bout on Wednesday, February 5. Johnson County will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-51 league win over Wilkinson County (Irwinton, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
With the loss, Twiggs County falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Upson-Lee won 70-64 in their recent league bout against Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA)
