Louisiana High School Basketball - Varnado holds off Kentwood

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Varnado Wildcats basketball team scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Kentwood Kangaroos.
The Wildcats (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA). The Pioneers go into the 1A District 10 contest with a 12-18 record. In their last contest, Crescent City Christian was tipped by Liberty Magnet (Baton Rouge, LA), 48-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Kangaroos confront the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 10. Kentwood will attempt to better on its 0-16 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 6-14 record after their 73-72 non-league loss to Maurepas (Maurepas, LA).
