The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA) and the visiting Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA), observed North Catholic's basketball team edge Knoch by a score of 54-53.

The Trojans (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA). The Lancers come into the WPIAL 4A 1 challenge with a 16-4 record. In their last challenge, Deer Lakes was tipped by Knoch (Saxonburg, PA), 48-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Freeport Yellowjackets (Freeport, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 1 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Knoch will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Armstrong (Kittanning, PA).
