The Las Plumas Thunderbirds (Oroville, CA) basketball crushed the visiting Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA), 70-39 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Thunderbirds now possess a 17-8 record. They play next when they travel to Oroville for a Butte View bout on Friday, February 7. Las Plumas will play a Tigers team coming off a 64-56 league loss to Orland (Orland, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 7-16.
With the loss, Live Oak falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Gridley (Gridley, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a Butte View bout on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Gridley won 48-29 in their recent league bout against Corning (Corning, CA)
