In Tuesday's league contest, the host Sterling Rangers basketball team scored a good 59-51 win over the Lee Ganders.

The Rangers (18-14) will now prepare for their contest against Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX). The Titans come into the 5A Region III District 19 contest with a 23-9 record. In their last contest, Port Arthur Memorial defeated West Brook (Beaumont, TX), 61-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Ganders battle the Port Neches-Groves Indians (Port Neches, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 contest, on Friday, February 7. Lee will attempt to better on its 4-27 season record. The Indians come into the contest with a 12-16 record after their 54-35 league loss to Beaumont United (Beaumont, TX).
