In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Liberty North Eagles basketball team scored a close 60-58 triumph over the Lee's Summit West Titans.
The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Blue Springs (Blue Springs, MO). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Blue Springs nipped Lee's Summit North (Lee's Summit, MO), 79-76, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Titans battle the Lee's Summit Tigers (Lee's Summit, MO) in a Freelance contest, on Friday, February 7. Lee's Summit West will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 68-59 league loss to Staley (Kansas City, MO).
