In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting West Rutland Golden Horde basketball team scored a good 72-53 triumph over the Leland & Gray Rebels.
The Golden Horde (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen go into the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Mill River topped Long Trail (Dorset, VT), 65-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rebels confront the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) in a Southern Vermont - C contest, on Thursday, February 6. Leland & Gray will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Wasps go into the contest with a 9-6 record after their 54-51 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, VT).
