In Tuesday's league contest, the host Southwest Valley basketball team scored a big 73-49 win over the Lenox Tigers.
The (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA). The Blue Devils come into the Pride of Iowa contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Martensdale-St. Mary's smashed Wayne (Corydon, IA), 51-25, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lamoni Demons (Lamoni, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Lenox will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Demons come into the contest with a 6-11 record after their 47-16 non-league win over East Harrison [Ridgeway/Cainsville] (Ridgeway, MO).
