In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lipscomb Academy Mustangs basketball team scored a good 49-36 triumph over the Montgomery Bell Academy Big Red.
The Mustangs (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Irish go into the Division II-AA Middle contest with a 16-7 record. In their last contest, Father Ryan topped Ensworth (Nashville, TN), 42-26, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Big Red battle the Brentwood Academy Eagles (Brentwood, TN) in a Division II-AA Middle contest, on Thursday, February 6. Montgomery Bell Academy will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 13-10 record after their 56-52 league loss to Pope John Paul II (Hendersonville, TN).
