The Magnolia Blue Eagles nipped the host River Pilots basketball squad by a final score of 49-43 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Blue Eagles clash with the Trinity Christian Warriors (Morgantown, WV) in a Ohio Valley A outing, on Thursday, February 6. Magnolia will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors enter the outing with a 1-11 record after their 65-26 league loss to Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
The Pilots (7-10) will now prepare for their outing against Caldwell (Caldwell, OH). The Redskins enter the Ohio Valley AA match with a 15-3 record. In their last match, Caldwell got by Frontier (New Matamoras, OH), 69-54, in a non-league match.
