In Tuesday's non-league test, the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Magoffin County Hornets (Salyersville, KY), by a score of 73-51.

Next, the Cougars encounter the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a District 62 test, on Friday, February 7. Morgan County will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record.

The Hornets (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Lawrence County (Louisa, KY). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 15-6 record. In their last test, Lawrence County bounced Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY), 70-61, in a non-league test.
