The Maple River Eagles basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers to 60 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now possess a 16-13 record. They play next when they host Richland for a non-league game on Friday, February 7.

With the loss, Minnesota Valley Lutheran falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Chargers host Sibley East (Arlington, MN) to confront the Wolverines in a AA Section 2 game on Friday, February 7. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 6-12. Sibley East lost 56-53 in their recent league game against St. Clair (St. Clair, MN)
