In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Oakmont Regional Spartans basketball team scored a big 52-30 triumph over the Marlborough Panthers.

The Spartans (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Groton-Dunstable (Groton, MA). The Crusaders go into the Midland-Wachusett B contest with a 7-9 record. In their last contest, Groton-Dunstable was trounced by North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA), 69-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Shepherd Hill Regional Rams (Dudley, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett B contest, on Friday, February 7. Marlborough will attempt to better on its 0-15 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 67-52 league win over Westborough (Westborough, MA).
