The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals (Nashville, TN) and the host Valor College Prep Wildcats (Nashville, TN), observed Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's basketball team overwhelm Valor College Prep by a score of 66-41.
The Royals (10-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Maplewood (Nashville, TN). The Panthers come into the 3A District 10 challenge with a 13-9 record. In their last challenge, Maplewood trounced Lawson (Nashville, TN), 56-43, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights (Nashville, TN) in a 3A District 10 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Valor College Prep will attempt to improve on its 7-15 season record. The Blue Knights come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 69-18 league win over Glencliff (Nashville, TN).
