Ohio High School Basketball - South victorious over Mayfield

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting South Rebels basketball team scored a good 66-52 triumph over the Mayfield Wildcats.

The Rebels (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Bombers go into the Western Reserve contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Kenston was toppled by Riverside (Painesville, OH), 62-58, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcats confront the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a Western Reserve contest, on Friday, February 7. Mayfield will attempt to better on its 6-11 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 7-11 record after their 86-69 league win over North (Eastlake, OH).
