The McKinley Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Tara Trojans to 24 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Plaquemine for a 4A District 6 game on Friday, February 7. McKinley will confront a Green Devils team coming off a 67-61 league win over West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA). The Green Devils record now stands at 18-8.

With the loss, Tara falls to 11-21 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA) to confront the Buccaneers in a 4A District 6 game on Friday, February 7. The Buccaneers go into the game with a record of 14-17. Broadmoor lost 80-46 in their recent league game against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA)
