The Midland Bulldogs basketball squad (Midland, TX), was outscored 50-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX)

With the victory, Odessa advances its record to 14-18 on the year. The Bronchos host Frenship (Wolfforth, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, February 7. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 23-7. Frenship won 66-55 in their recent league battle against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX)

The Bulldogs now own a 10-22 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Permian for a 6A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, February 7. Midland will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 49-47 league win over San Angelo Central (San Angelo, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 22-9.
