The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM), observed Oak Grove Classical Academy's basketball team overwhelm Monte Del Sol Charter by a score of 64-13.
The Owls (12-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks come into the 2A District 2 challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Legacy Academy trounced Menaul (Albuquerque, NM), 56-55, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons encounter the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 2A District 2 test, on Thursday, February 6. Monte Del Sol Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 3-17 record after their 62-57 league loss to Jemez Valley (Jemez Pueblo, NM).
