North Carolina High School Basketball - Morehead holds off T.W. Andrews

February 4, 2025: Eden, NC 27288

The Morehead Panthers basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting T.W. Andrews Red Raiders to 62 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Walkertown for a 2A Mid-State game on Friday, February 7. Morehead will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 78-53 league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, T.W. Andrews falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 10-9. Western Alamance won 59-54 in their recent league game against Williams (Burlington, NC)
