With the victory, Mt. Zion advances its record to 17-7 on the year. The Braves host Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to meet the Cyclones in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. The Cyclones enter the battle with a record of 11-11.
The Tornadoes now own a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pana for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8.
