The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Nativity BVM Green Wave (Pottsville, PA) and the visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Red Raiders (Coal Township, PA), observed Nativity BVM's basketball team knock off Our Lady of Lourdes Regional by a score of 60-51.

The Green Wave (14-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 8-12 record. In their last challenge, Central Mountain prevailed over Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA), 54-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Raiders encounter the Millersburg Indians (Millersburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Our Lady of Lourdes Regional will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 53-45 league loss to Halifax (Halifax, PA).
