The New York Mills Eagles basketball team scored 76 points and limited the host Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines to 72 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now have a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Pillager for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. New York Mills will confront a Huskies team coming off a 73-57 non-league loss to Henning (Henning, MN). The Huskies record now stands at 11-7.

With the loss, Wadena-Deer Creek falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Perham (Perham, MN) to confront the Yellowjackets in a AA Section 8 game on Thursday, February 6. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 11-7. Perham won 66-63 in their recent league game against Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN)
