The Platt Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Newington Nor'easters to 52 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Wethersfield for a non-league game on Monday, February 10. Platt will confront a Eagles team coming off a 43-38 non-league loss to Middletown (Middletown, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-13.

With the loss, Newington falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Nor'easters travel to Plainville (Plainville, CT) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Thursday, February 13. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 10-7.
