North Carolina High School Basketball - Northern Guilford holds off Southwest Guilford

The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 65 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Nighthawks now possess a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to East Forsyth for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 5. Northern Guilford will confront a Eagles team coming off a 75-61 league win over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Southwest Guilford falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC) to confront the Tigers in a 4A Metro game on Friday, February 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 1-19. Ragsdale lost 73-47 in their recent league game against Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC)
